About the Y Golf Classic

Taking place at the The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, the Y Golf Classic is the go-to event of the season, all in the name of a worthy cause.

Since its inception in 2009, the Y Golf Classic has raised close to $2,500,000 in net proceeds, with every dollar being put to work within our local community. By sponsoring the Y Golf Classic tournament, you align yourself with one of the most respected and recognized charities in our community and have the opportunity to develop relationships with other business and community leaders from across our region.

Each golfer will enjoy unlimited access to the Clubhouse, tips from a golf pro on the driving range, green fees and carts, lunch, a cocktail reception, dinner, golfer’s tournament gifts, opportunities for networking, and chances to win great prizes.

We had an incredible time on September 16, 2024 at the 15th annual Y Golf Classic! We would like to offer a huge thank you to our sponsors, partners, volunteers, and The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club for helping us host such a fantastic day on the greens. With your support, we are thrilled to share that over $270,000 was raised to support vital programs and services in our community. We are truly grateful.

About the Cause

Since 1867, the YMCA of the National Capital Region has been at the centre of our community, helping people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities live engaging, more rewarding lives. A charity dedicated to the health of individuals, families, and communities, the Y is proud to offer a wide variety of programs, including emergency housing, summer camp, before and after school programs, Second Stage Housing for at-risk youth, TRY Supportive Housing, employment services, language assessment services, and so much more.

100% of the proceeds raised by the Y Golf Classic will be put to work helping those who need it most within the National Capital Region. With your help, we ensure that families and children in our community can continue to turn to the Y.

Participation in the Y Golf Classic is by sponsorship only; we do not sell individual registrations or foursomes. Please request a copy of the sponsorship package via email if you are interested in participating and would like to learn more about the levels available.
